Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smasher Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money comes into the arena with Gives You Hell blaring out of the sound system. Drago is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rocky Tribune. Money is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Ivan Drago told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Drago or perhaps it was just good defense by Money which made him look bad.
Money is breathing heavily.
Drago shoots in and drives through. Money sprawls well.

Drago drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Drago is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Money has escaped the position, nice work there.
Drago tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Money knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drago on the ground.

Drago looks up at the clock and then as Money takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Drago smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

It looks like Smasher Money has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drago trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Drago lands a big shot there that rocks Money but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Money regains half guard.
Drago wants to control but Money is keeping him busy.
Drago is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Drago is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Drago is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Money is just riding it out for now. Drago eventually gives up the hold.

Drago is looking for a kimura but Money is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Drago to get the leverage.

Drago seems to be looking for submissions.

Drago is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Money defends it well.

Drago might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Money kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
