Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilton Odom (ranked 7146 p4p, 0 weight class) and Booby Bobby (ranked 6837 p4p, 0 weight class). Booby Bobby will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Odom instigates a clinch.
Bobby working hard to break the clinch.
Odom is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bobby pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Bobby looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Odom tries to pull guard but Bobby won't allow it.
Odom jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bobby walks away with a smile on his face. Odom gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Odom rushes Bobby and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bobby stands and steps away. Odom gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bobby throws a right hand that Odom ducks under and follows up with a left that Odom also avoids with ease.
Odom attempts a counter takedown but Bobby avoids it well and moves away.
Bobby fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Odom tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bobby smiles and moves away.
Odom walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bobby.

Odom gets control of Bobby's arms and successfully pulls guard. Odom will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Odom will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bobby's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Booby Bobby showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

It looks like Wilton Odom has been cut.
Bobby's coach down at Rabid Reindeer Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bobby's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Bobby fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Odom manages to avoid it.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bobby. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Odom is trying to trip Bobby. He has hold of a leg but Bobby is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Odom persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Bobby pushes Odom off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Bobby lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Odom circles away quickly and effectively.

Odom takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Bobby throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Well Bobby has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
