Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Filip Rakovich (ranked 3129 p4p, 162 weight class) and Jay Rotti (ranked 3794 p4p, 190 weight class). Jay Rotti will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Filip Rakovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Rotti!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotti connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rakovich's hands.
Rotti lands with a slapping head kick.
Good shot there by Rotti.
Rakovich has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rakovich there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rakovich tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rotti sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rakovich somewhat.

Rotti lands with an overhand left.
Rotti lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rakovich shoots in but no luck this time.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rotti, as that shot connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rotti lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Good exchange - Rotti coming out on top.
Rotti connects with a crisp jab.
Rotti fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Rakovich misses with a takedown attempt - Rotti sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Filip Rakovich. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rakovich moves forwards but Rotti connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Rakovich on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Rakovich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rotti tries to avoid it but Rakovich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rotti to the ground. Rotti escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rotti lands a jab.
Rotti might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Rotti connects with a high kick.
Rotti cracks Rakovich with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Rakovich takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rotti tests Rakovich's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rotti fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Oh Rakovich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A left lands for Rotti.
Rotti has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Rotti walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Rakovich drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rotti swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Rakovich's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Rotti!
