The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from TeppenGym enables Bagueirau to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. TeppenGym manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Bagueirau won't allow TeppenGym to get back to his feet.
TeppenGym wants to sweep here but Bagueirau controlling him for the moment.

TeppenGym looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bagueirau puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
TeppenGym reaches up to try and control the position but Bagueirau seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! TeppenGym rolls and tries to escape and now Bagueirau has his back!

TeppenGym is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Bagueirau off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Bagueirau seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down TeppenGym for as long as he can get away with.
Bagueirau seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
TeppenGym is trying to get back to his feet but Bagueirau has full control of the position and if anything, TeppenGym has just worked his way into a worse spot.
TeppenGym is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
TeppenGym told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Bagueirau is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. TeppenGym has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Bagueirau has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! TeppenGym taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Bagueirau doesn't care though - he's delighted!

A very excited looking Sildosoves Bagueirau rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
