PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Temir Temirov (ranked 21400 p4p, 652 weight class) and Yoshihiro Sexyama (ranked 7789 p4p, 603 weight class). Temirov comes to the cage accompanied by Snow Money. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sexyama on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Sexyama throws a lazy right hand but Temirov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Temirov swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Sexyama closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Temirov did well to prevent Sexyama getting side control.
Sexyama is trying to control. Temirov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Temirov wants to control but Sexyama is keeping busy.

Sexyama seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Temirov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

As Sexyama tries to get set, Temirov tries to push him back and clinch up but Sexyama manages to avoid the attempt.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sexyama tries to bum rush Temirov with a series of wild strikes but Temirov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looked like Temirov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Sexyama content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Temirov has locked up a guillotine! Temirov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Sexyama is holding on here and Temirov must be using up a lot of energy. Sexyama has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Temirov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

A very excited looking Temir Temirov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
