Averno really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taylor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Taylor is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Averno has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Taylor cracks Averno with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Averno can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adan Taylor.
I think Averno has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
