Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kris Ingram (ranked 24933 p4p, 0 weight class) and Top Boxer (ranked 5438 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kris Ingram!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Top Boxer!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boxer moves into the clinch.

Boxer is trying to trip Ingram. He has hold of a leg but Ingram is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Boxer persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ingram is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Boxer wants to work for an arm triangle but Ingram is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Boxer perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Boxer is thwarting Ingram's attempts to control the position.

Ingram makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ingram.
Ingram controls Boxer momentarily but Boxer frees himself.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ingram wants to stand but Boxer is controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boxer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ingram sprawls well. Ingram wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boxer gets slowly back to his feet.
Boxer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ingram circles away.

Ingram closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Boxer's guard.

Boxer pushes Ingram off and gets back to his feet.

Boxer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ingram tries to avoid it but Boxer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ingram to the ground. Ingram escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kris Ingram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Top Boxer.
Ingram slaps away a takedown attempt from Boxer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ingram is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Boxer.

Boxer drives through and clinches with Ingram against the cage.

Boxer manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Boxer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ingram wants to get back to full guard.
Boxer content to control rather than advance.

Ingram is trying to control but Boxer passes into side control!
Ingram can't do much from the bottom here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



The fight moves into the clinch position.
Boxer is trying to force a seperation but Ingram has the dominant position.
Ingram on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Boxer has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ingram after a bit of a struggle.
Ingram drops down looking for an ankle pick but Boxer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice sprawl there from Ingram as Boxer shoots in.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ingram ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ingram no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Boxer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ingram swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ingram is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Boxer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ingram tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boxer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Boxer gets to his feet - Ingram follows without any prompting.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ingram with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Ingram postures up in Boxer's guard and throws a big left but Boxer blocks it.
Top Boxer has got the better of the ground game so far.
Boxer trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Boxer manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Ingram really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boxer is defended easily by Ingram.

Boxer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ingram half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Boxer shoots in but Ingram avoids the takedown attempt easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Ingram misses the target.
Boxer is breathing heavily.
Boxer goes for a double leg but Ingram avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ingram continues to drive forward.
Boxer closes the distance and clinches up with Ingram, looking for a takedown. Boxer pushes Ingram against the cage but Ingram circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Ingram. No joy for Boxer on that attempt.

Top Boxer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Ingram changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boxer tries to avoid it but Ingram manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boxer to the ground. Boxer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ingram tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Boxer smiles and moves away.

Ingram changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Ingram misses with a takedown attempt - Boxer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Boxer follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kris Ingram. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ingram is pressed up against the cage. Boxer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ingram down to the mat. Ingram avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Top Boxer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ingram throws a leg kick that misses.
Boxer has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ingram closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boxer circles away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ingram throws a chopping leg kick but Boxer manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Boxer unleashes a big counter combination but Ingram bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boxer, as that shot connected.

Top Boxer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Boxer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
