Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Katurian Tupolski (ranked 1419 p4p, 166 weight class) and Aldo O Donno (ranked 1515 p4p, 174 weight class). Tupolski comes to the cage accompanied by Mobb Deep - Shook Ones part II. O Donno is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Make Some Noise - Beastie Boys. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Donno misses with a wild combination.
As O Donno backs away, Tupolski returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Tupolski sizes up O Donno with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tupolski looks to score with a jab to the body but O Donno is just out of range.

and Tupolski counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
O Donno moves out of range as Tupolski throws a body kick.
O Donno throws a looping overhand right but Tupolski ducks down to avoid it.

O Donno fails to land with a series of punches.
Good work by Tupolski as he checks the leg kick.
Tupolski connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed O Donno momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tupolski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

O Donno fakes the leg kick and cracks Tupolski in the body.
O Donno fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tupolski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
O Donno misses with an uppercut. Tupolski saw that one coming.
Tupolski blocks a jab.
O Donno jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tupolski has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tupolski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Tupolski misses the shot to the body.
Tupolski catches O Donno with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tupolski swings for the body but O Donno moves out of range.
O Donno plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Tupolski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but O Donno moves away.
O Donno thumps Tupolski with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
O Donno takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tupolski is looking to wear down O Donno with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
O Donno scores with the left hand. Tupolski knows he should have avoided that one.
O Donno looks to land a body kick but Tupolski moved away.
Tupolski swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
O Donno has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Tupolski misses with a low kick.
O Donno takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Tupolski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by O Donno.

and O Donno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tupolski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oh Tupolski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tupolski feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits O Donnos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
O Donno lands with a big right hook that stumbles Tupolski - he's out on his feet here! O Donno follows up with another monster hook that separates Tupolski from consciousness! Tupolski falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! O Donno stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Aldo O Donno!
A relieved looking Aldo O Donno thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Katurian Tupolski was interviewed post fight and said 'Fighting is a tough business. All the props to my opponent - he was better tonight. I will be back stronger.'.
