Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan Gatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mikael Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatt tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Jackson counters with a right hand to the body.
Gatt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Gatt fails with the takedown
and Jackson counters with a straight right hand.
Gatt throws a shot from downtown. Jackson moves away and avoids it.
Jordan Gatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson cracks Gatt with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


Gatt is rocked!
Gatt tries to clinch but Jackson moves away
and Jackson counters with a thumping low kick.
Oh Gatt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet.
Gatt misses with a takedown
and Jackson counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Gatt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gatt throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gatt is in Jackson's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gatt wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
Gatt seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Gatt throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jackson's body to avoid the submission. Jackson has instead reached around Gatt's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jackson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mikael Jackson!
