Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Sturd Jr (ranked 644 p4p, 90 weight class) and Albert Hoffman (ranked 94 p4p, 17 weight class). Sturd Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Waka Flocka Flame - 50K (Neon Dreams Remix). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sturd Jr defends well and Hoffman ends up having to push Sturd Jr into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
No luck for Hoffman with that takedown attempt.

Sturd Jr fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hoffman is out of range.

Hoffman shoots in looking for a takedown. Sturd Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Hoffman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sturd Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hoffman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sturd Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hoffman has his foot on Sturd Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sturd Jr works his way back into a safe position though.

Sturd Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hoffman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sturd Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Hoffman 's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
