Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tai Musaki !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Smash Wallop!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musaki checks a leg kick nicely.
Musaki is looking for a counter combo.
Wallop dips to his left and cracks Musaki with an uppercut!
Wallop connects with a single shot there.

Musaki closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wallop quickly recovers to half guard.
Wallop looks like he's trying to stand up.

Musaki stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Wallop to get to his feet.
Wallop ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Wallop gets caught flat footed, as Musaki shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wallop is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Musaki has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Musaki working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wallop wants to get back to his feet but Musaki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wallop keeping full guard, as Musaki tries to pass.
Musaki won't allow Wallop to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Musaki makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Musaki missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Musaki slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Wallop is looking to stand up but Musaki isn't so interested in that idea.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Wallop moves to clinch but Musaki breaks away

and Musaki counters with a shoot takedown. Wallop fights it but they end up in guard.
Musaki has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Musaki stops Wallop from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Musaki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallop swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wallop wants to stand and escape but Musaki is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Musaki passes Wallop's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Musaki looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Musaki prevents Wallop from standing back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Musaki moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Smash Wallop is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Musaki dives in and scores a takedown into Wallop's guard.
Wallop wants to stand and escape but Musaki is having none of it.
Wallop preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Musaki won't allow Wallop to get back to his feet.
Musaki throwing strikes from guard but Wallop blocks nicely.
Musaki stops Wallop from standing up.
Musaki is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Musaki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wallop is keeping the position for now.
Wallop is looking to stand up but Musaki isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Wallop cracks Musaki with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wallop bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Smash Wallop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wallop wants to clinch.
Musaki changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Wallop tries to work over Musaki 's front leg with a kick but Musaki checks it.

Musaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wallop wants to stand back up but Musaki manages to pass into side control.
Wallop is trying to buck Musaki off.
Musaki tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wallop's legs.
Wallop is pushing Musaki 's head away, looking to escape. Musaki manages to hold on to the position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tai Musaki dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Wallop drops Musaki with a beautiful combination! Musaki stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wallop is looking for the KO!


Musaki is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Musaki swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wallop counters with a big left hand that crumples Musaki ! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Smash Wallop!
