Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boyd Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Augustine Tupper!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupper bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Tupper shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Clark eats them both and turns towards Tupper to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Tupper bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clark's head backwards.
Tupper loads up on a big right hand but Clark slips the punch.
Clark feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tuppers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tupper misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tupper bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clark's head backwards.
Clark scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tupper is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
A punch combination from Clark misses.
Tupper is still on wobbly legs! Can Clark finish him?
Clark Throws a clean left jab. Clark Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Tupper's chin! Tupper crumbles to the ground and Clark follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Clark!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Boyd Clark!
Boyd Clark decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Augustine Tupper was interviewed post fight and said 'No worries! Everyone knows that my opponent here has a bad habit of testing positive for PEDs and illegal recreational drugs, so I'm confident this fight will soon be ruled a "No Contest." Thanks everyone for continuing to support those of us who fight clean.'.
