Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marco Ajax (ranked 117 p4p, 13 weight class) and Pa‘Akea Built (ranked 287 p4p, 39 weight class). Ajax comes into the arena with For Heavy Metal we will die! blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Built has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marco Ajax will probably get the nod.

Marco Ajax overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
