Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Williams (ranked 4094 p4p, 506 weight class) and Randy Engelhard (ranked 3036 p4p, 410 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Randy Engelhard enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Engelhard!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Engelhard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Engelhard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Williams tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Engelhard slows the pace down.

Engelhard seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Williams does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Engelhard winds up and cracks Williams with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Engelhard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Williams has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Engelhard has managed to get both his arms back between Williams's legs - danger averted.
Engelhard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Engelhard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Williams haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

and Engelhard counters with a nice uppercut.
Williams slips a straight right by Engelhard.
Engelhard throws a lazy right hand but Williams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Williams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Engelhard defends it nicely.
And Engelhard tries to counter it with a takedown but Williams pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Engelhard changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Engelhard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Williams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Engelhard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Engelhard eventually gives up the hold.
