Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Batty (ranked 400 p4p, 56 weight class) and Argat Khan (ranked 897 p4p, 113 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Batty might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.... Roy Batty could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Argat Khan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws an overhand right that lands on Batty's shoulder, as Batty tries to avoid the shot.
Batty thuds his right hand into Khan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Khan moves away from the strike by Batty.
Batty misses the shot to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Batty.
Batty wants to clinch.
Batty slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Batty lands a jab to the nose.
Khan throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Batty tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Khan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Batty tries a head kick but it misses.
Khan misses with a looping left.

Batty pivots, looking for a leg kick but Khan is out of range and Batty settles back down.
Khan throws the left hand but Batty avoids the punch easily.
Batty throws a lazy right hand but Khan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Khan unleashes a big counter combination but Batty bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Batty cracks Khan with an open hand slap.
Batty rushes Khan and presses him up against the cage.
Khan manages to break the clinch.
Khan throws the kick towards the body but Batty avoids it.
Batty scores with a nice head shot.
Batty moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Khan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Batty manages to avoid it.
Batty lands with a cross.
Batty throws a jab but it's blocked by Khan.
Batty looks for the body kick but Khan saw that one coming.

Batty is looking to land body kicks.
Batty takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Batty looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Khan keeps the fight on the outside.

The fighters circling - Khan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Batty takes a kick to the side of the head.
A bone on bone clash there as Khan blocks the leg kick.
Batty connects with a nice looking jab.
Batty tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Khan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It seemed like Khan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Batty jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Batty shoots in but Khan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Batty walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Batty lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Batty scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Batty throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Khan's waist but Khan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Batty off to one side.
Roy Batty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Batty misses with a short punch on the inside.
Khan blocks an uppercut.
I was talking to Batty's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Batty swings wildly with an uppercut but Khan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Khan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A clash of legs there as Khan blocks the low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Batty scores with a jab. Khan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A big right from Batty misses.
Batty takes a kick to the side of the head.
Batty is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A chopping leg kick lands by Batty.
Khan loads up on a big right hand but Batty slips the punch.
Khan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Batty moves away.
Khan blocks the body kick.
Khan avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Khan tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Khan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Batty.
Batty throws a hook to the side of Khan's head but Khan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Decent striking displayed by Khan there.
Oh Batty is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khan drops Batty with a big left hand! Batty is injured, injured bad! Khan jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
