The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winger lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Alkamid lands a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Winger. Alkamid does a little dance to reset his feet.
Alkamid tests Winger's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Alkamid swings widly with a right hand
and Winger counters with a stiff right hand.
Winger cracks a nice hook into Alkamid's ribs.
Alkamid on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Winger dips to his left and cracks Alkamid with an uppercut!
Alkamid looks to land a right hand but Winger moved out of range.
Winger slips a jab from Alkamid.
Cheikh Alkamid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alkamid blocks a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Winger looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Winger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Winger gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Winger is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Winger looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Winger keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Winger avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Winger connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Winger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alkamid was well out of range. Poor timing from Winger.
Alkamid swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Alkamid thows a left - swing and a miss!
Winger swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Winger throws a series of punches but Alkamid moves out of range.
Winger connects with a right hand. Alkamid shakes it off.
Winger lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Alkamid is rocked!
Winger cracks Alkamid with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Alkamid falls to his knees and Winger doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
