Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Boma (ranked 2307 p4p, 258 weight class) and Gustavo Carvalho (ranked 1189 p4p, 154 weight class). Boma comes to the cage accompanied by Andrew and Wada Blood - Irie. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Carvalho has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Carvalho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boma gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Carvalho wants to sweep but Boma has passed to side control!
Boma is looking to take a break and control but Carvalho is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Oscar Boma will probably get the nod.
