Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bun Chantha (ranked 4258 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jos Beton (ranked 3245 p4p, 0 weight class). Chantha kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is WORDS BOXIN. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beton takes one on the button.
Chantha looks to score with a jab to the body but Beton is just out of range.
Chantha tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Beton moves out of range as Chantha strikes.
It seemed like Beton was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Chantha throws a series of punches but Beton avoids them all with ease.
Beton looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Chantha cracks a nice hook into Beton's ribs.
Bun Chantha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chantha moves to clinch but Beton breaks away
and Beton counters with a single leg into guard. Chantha didn't expect that.

My spies in Hey Steves Fight Shack inform me that Beton has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Jos Beton decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
