PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Curt Barber (ranked 6699 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Bione (ranked 5682 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Curt Barber has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Curt Barber seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bione lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bione stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Barber has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Barber shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Barber throws a right and a left that Bione avoids nicely.
Bione jabs Barber to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Barber might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bione wants to stand and escape but Barber is having none of it.

Barber is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bione is surviving well by controlling Barber's body position as best he can.

Barber is landing with some decent strikes but Bione is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Barber postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Bione badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Barber around the waist but Barber pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Barber is the winner by TKO! Barber jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
