PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Byyler (ranked 2453 p4p, 347 weight class) and Lincon Samuals (ranked 1856 p4p, 266 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Byyler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kube - Who run it (freestyle). The crowd seem to be enjoying Samuals's choice of entrance music: I Sit I Watch I Wait- Lost Sounds. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samuals dips to his left and cracks Byyler with an uppercut!
Samuals has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Byyler is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Byyler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Byyler connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Byyler throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Samuals cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Samuals cracks Byyler with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Samuals scores with a jab to the head.
Byyler looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Byyler lunges at Samuals with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Samuals's hand.
Byyler swings widly with a right hand
letting Samuals counter with a right hand.

Byyler lands a left and a right that send Samuals crashing to the mat, dazed. Byyler thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Samuals is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Byyler fakes the body blow, causing Samuals to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Samuals goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

After winning the bout, Hans Byyler thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
