Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cheikh Alkamid (ranked 4253 p4p, 343 weight class) and Lil Bott (ranked 4373 p4p, 353 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lil Bott was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkamid throws a poor cross that misses
and Bott counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bott throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bott ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alkamid waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bott.
Alkamid throws a hook but Bott blocks it.
Alkamid showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bott.
Alkamid misses with an uppercut. Bott saw that one coming.
Bott slips under a jab from Alkamid.
Jab, jab by Alkamid - just one landing.
Bott misses with a head kick.
Alkamid is looking for a counter combo.
Alkamid avoids the head kick by Bott.
Bott moves away from the strike by Alkamid.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bott throws a head kick but Alkamid moves out of range.
Bott ducks right into an uppercut from Alkamid.
Bott takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bott fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Alkamid throws a series of strikes that have Bott backpedaling.

Bott is rocked!
Alkamid lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Bott falls backwards - clearly groggy! Alkamid dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
