Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phillipe Courbois (ranked 5709 p4p, 0 weight class) and Test Two (ranked 5988 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Test Two!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Courbois throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Two counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Courbois lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Two looking to hit a scissor sweep but Courbois is one step ahead there.
Two looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Courbois puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Two is looking to improve his position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close round but I would say that Phillipe Courbois will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Two tries to pass the half guard into mount. Courbois knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Two uses his free foot to push down on Courbois's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Courbois.

Two is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Courbois defends it well.

Two really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Courbois. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Test Two showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Courbois dives in for a single leg takedown but Two sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Two is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Courbois is rocked!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Two pushes Courbois against the cage. Two is working some dirty boxing. Two pushes off with a quick right hook! Courbois goes down! Courbois tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Two moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
