Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Christian Cyborg (ranked 3250 p4p, 282 weight class) and Silvio Dante (ranked 3224 p4p, 281 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Christian Cyborg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Silvio Dante!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cyborg keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cyborg displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dante throws out the jab.
Cyborg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dante swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dante feints the counter takedown.
Cyborg scores with a one two! Dante had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Cyborg dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dante has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Cyborg fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dante manages to avoid it.
Cyborg tries to clinch but Dante is having none of it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cyborg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dante's guard.

Dante scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dante will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Christian Cyborg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dante loads up on a big right hand but Cyborg slips the punch.

And Dante tries to counter it with a takedown but Cyborg pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Cyborg throws a series of punches but Dante avoids them all with ease.

And Dante tries to counter it with a takedown but Cyborg pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Cyborg doesn't manage to clinch there - Dante circles away.
Cyborg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dante.

Cyborg throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cyborg looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dante tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Cyborg moves into range and connects with a jab.
Dante might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dante scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cyborg doesn't seem bothered though.

Cyborg gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Cyborg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dante moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dante feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cyborgs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dante lands a nice shot to the body.
Cyborg lands a nice shot that snaps Dante's head back.
Dante gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Dante tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Cyborg is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Dante buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Dante!! Dante is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Cyborg throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christian Cyborg!
In his post fight interview, Christian Cyborg started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
