Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daichi Kishimoto (ranked 210 p4p, 6 weight class) and Yodsawan Sitsongrit (ranked 842 p4p, 25 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yodsawan Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kishimoto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sitsongrit but Sitsongrit pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sitsongrit counters with a body kick.
Kishimoto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sitsongrit counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kishimoto with a lazy takedown attempt
and Sitsongrit counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daichi Kishimoto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sitsongrit delivers a nice body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kishimoto shoots in but Sitsongrit avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kishimoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Sitsongrit sprawls well. He's pushed Kishimoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kishimoto tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sitsongrit defends well and Kishimoto ends up having to push Sitsongrit into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Daichi Kishimoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kishimoto steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sitsongrit.
Kishimoto shoots in looking for a takedown but Sitsongrit manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kishimoto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A little jabbing left from Sitsongrit on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kishimoto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Kishimoto tries for a takedown but Sitsongrit circles away easily
and Sitsongrit counters with a straight right hand.
Sitsongrit throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kishimoto on the side of the head.
Sitsongrit moves into range and clinches up with Kishimoto.
Kishimoto fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kishimoto is looking to take this one to the mat.

Kishimoto is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Sitsongrit to keep the fight standing.
Sitsongrit gets underhooks to prevent Kishimoto's takedown attempt.
Sitsongrit struggles to land a body shot inside as Kishimoto controls his hands.
Sitsongrit softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Kishimoto is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sitsongrit is defending well.
Kishimoto tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sitsongrit smiles and moves away.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sitsongrit! Kishimoto is out on his feet! Sitsongrit rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kishimoto is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kishimoto is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Yodsawan Sitsongrit spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Daichi Kishimoto spoke after the fight, saying 'I could not access my Extra Secret Totally Awesome Ninja Techniques tonight, but I will train and be back,he was the one with victory on his side tonight,Give him some hands(CROWD CHEERS) he says in Greek"Καληνύχτα φίλοι μ '.
