Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Paiva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Jr Larryboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paiva comes into the arena with Darude - Sandstorm blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larryboy shoots in looking for a takedown. Paiva tries to sprawl out of it but Larryboy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Paiva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Paiva throws a left that rocks Larryboy and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Paiva dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Larryboy regain composure!

Larryboy is rocked!

It looks like Tom Jr Larryboy has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Larryboy tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Paiva easily slips into full mount!
Larryboy is just holding on here. Paiva manages to take his back.
Larryboy turns into Paiva and is now in his guard.
Larryboy won't allow Paiva to get back to his feet.
Larryboy wants to control from the top but Paiva keeps moving.

Larryboy is standing up over Paiva. Paiva looks to escape but Larryboy dives into side control.
Paiva is not content to let Larryboy control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Larryboy tries to advance to mount but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Paiva throws a right and a left that Larryboy avoids nicely.
Larryboy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Paiva.
Larryboy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Larryboy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Larryboy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Paiva but Paiva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Raphael Paiva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Jr Larryboy.

Larryboy tries to close the distance and clinch but Paiva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Larryboy tries to clinch up but Paiva circles away and keeps his distance.
Larryboy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Paiva connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Larryboy! He's out on his feet! Paiva rushes in and drops Larryboy with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
