Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Bohi (ranked 2007 p4p, 233 weight class) and Edvard Grieg (ranked 2770 p4p, 314 weight class). Dakota Bohi had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grieg throws a nice looking combination but Bohi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Grieg shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Grieg was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bohi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Grieg off and has taken his back!

Crunch! Grieg slams his shin into Bohi's torso.

Grieg feints and then cracks Bohi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bohi down.
We've been told by Bohi's head coaches at Shark Tank MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Grieg punishes Bohi's body with a nice straight punch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grieg crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bohi - the referee stops the clock and Grieg gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bohi. Grieg manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close round but I would say that Dakota Bohi will probably get the nod.

Grieg shoots in looking for a takedown. Bohi tries to sprawl out of it but Grieg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bohi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
