Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean-Claude Marceau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nikos Giannopoulos!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marceau throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marceau fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Giannopoulos on the side of the head.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Giannopoulos lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Marceau has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Marceau and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Giannopoulos connects with a leg kick. Marceau looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jean-Claude Marceau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Giannopoulos has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Marceau throws a hook to the side of Giannopoulos's head but Giannopoulos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Marceau tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Giannopoulos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Giannopoulos creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Marceau takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Giannopoulos gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Marceau.
Giannopoulos dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Marceau. That did some damage!

Giannopoulos cracks Marceau with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Giannopoulos has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Marceau to stand back up!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A very excited looking Nikos Giannopoulos rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
