Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abdel Mumu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Feihck Tiote!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mumu misses the shot to the body.
Mumu getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Mumu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tiote tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Tiote shoots in but Mumu avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mumu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tiote.
Mumu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tiote manages to avoid it.
Tiote only half commits to the counter leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mumu lands a nice shot to the body.
Mumu sizes up Tiote with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tiote shoots in but no luck this time.
Mumu looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Abdel Mumu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Feihck Tiote.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tiote moves out of range as Mumu strikes.
Tiote is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Feihck Tiote has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tiote.
Mumu throws a looping overhand right but Tiote ducks down to avoid it.
Mumu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mumu misses with a head kick.
Tiote closes the distance and clinches up with Mumu, looking for a takedown. Tiote pushes Mumu against the cage but Mumu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tiote shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mumu is looking to counter punch.
Mumu works the jab nicely.

Tiote is rocked!
Tiote leaves his chin hanging out and Mumu seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Tiote crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
