Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Martin (ranked 4906 p4p, 450 weight class) and Pedro Changg (ranked 8815 p4p, 605 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pedro Changg!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Changg displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Martin.
Changg throws a body punch but Martin moves out of range.
Changg lands a glancing blow to the side of Martin's head.
Martin slips under a jab.
Martin darts in looking for a takedown but Changg gets double underhooks and turns Martin into the cage.
Martin looks for a takedown but Changg sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Changg changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Martin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Changg tries to avoid it but Martin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Changg to the ground. Changg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Martin closes the distance and clinches up with Changg, looking for a takedown. Martin pushes Changg against the cage but Changg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Martin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Changg swivels and escapes.
A nice side step and Changg releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Changg working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Martin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Changg won't allow Martin to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Will Martin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Changg controls Martin momentarily but Martin frees himself.
Martin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Changg seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Changg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Martin manages to get himself to full guard.

Let's hope that Changg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Martin lands a nice short elbow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Martin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Changg defends well and Martin ends up having to push Changg into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Changg fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Martin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

I've got Changg winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
