Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Bass (ranked 25301 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Walker (ranked 5885 p4p, 0 weight class). Robbie Walker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Bass counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Bass could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Walker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bass defends it nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bass tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bass has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Walker jumps guard but Bass stands there with Walker around his waist. Walker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bass lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Walker backwards.

Walker goes for a takedown attempt but Bass pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Calvin Bass overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Walker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bass doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bass manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
