Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Christian Cyborg (ranked 1660 p4p, 173 weight class) and Remi Daucourt (ranked 4852 p4p, 372 weight class). The key to victory for Christian Cyborg has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cyborg forces Daucourt back against the cage and clinches.
Cyborg misses with a punch to the body.
Cyborg lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cyborg lands with a light punch inside.
Daucourt tries a body shot but Cyborg blocks it.
Daucourt misses with a punch on the inside.
A nice right hand lands inside from Cyborg.
Cyborg blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Daucourt fails to land.
Cyborg tries to throw a body punch but Daucourt avoids it by throwing Cyborg back against the cage.

Daucourt is trying to pull guard but Cyborg has him pressed against the cage.
Cyborg tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Daucourt's elbow.

Daucourt has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Cyborg seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Daucourt can turn it around.
Daucourt tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Cyborg lands a shot to the body.
Daucourt tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Cyborg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cyborg looks to land a right hand but Daucourt moved out of range.
Cyborg misses with a series of wild punches.
Cyborg tries to close the distance and clinch but Daucourt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cyborg takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cyborg bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cyborg misses with a straight right.
Cyborg lands a jab to Daucourt's midsection.

Daucourt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee asks Daucourt politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Daucourt prefers to stall for the moment though.
Cyborg tries to improve position but can't.

Daucourt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cyborg has escaped the position, nice work there.
Cyborg is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Cyborg is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Daucourt slows the pace down in half guard.
Daucourt tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cyborg knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Daucourt prevents Cyborg from improving his position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Daucourt works his foot free and advances to mount.
Cyborg is working to get back to half guard.
Daucourt takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
