Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alvaro Sanz (ranked 8845 p4p, 0 weight class) and Who Givesafuck (ranked 24119 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanz has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Who Givesafuck is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Givesafuck drives through and clinches with Sanz against the cage.
Sanz is breathing heavily.
Givesafuck works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Givesafuck is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Givesafuck must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Givesafuck wants to get up but he can't break Sanz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We've been hearing good reports from Sanz's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Sanz has momentary wrist control but Givesafuck slips an elbow through the middle.
Givesafuck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Givesafuck connects with a nice short shot to Sanz's temple.

Givesafuck is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sanz is just riding it out for now. Givesafuck eventually gives up the hold.
Givesafuck looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Givesafuck decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Sanz gets caught napping as Givesafuck dives in and scores a takedown. Sanz manages to retain guard.
Givesafuck tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanz is retaining full guard.

Givesafuck would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Givesafuck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Givesafuck fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sanz avoids it really well and circles away.
Givesafuck moves into range and clinches up with Sanz.

Givesafuck gets control of Sanz's arms and successfully pulls guard. Givesafuck will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Givesafuck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
