Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Floyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalada Scope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Floyd has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Andre Floyd has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scope misses with a head kick.
The crowd cheers as Scope lands an impressive looking overhand right. Floyd doesn't seem phased though.
Scope scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Floyd doesn't seem bothered though.

Scope lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Floyd moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Floyd shoots for a double leg takedown but Scope sprawls well. He's pushed Floyd's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Floyd sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Scope jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Scope throws a jab but it's blocked by Floyd.
Floyd is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Scope.
Scope moves out of range of the body kick from Floyd.
Scope throws a combination. Floyd tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Floyd throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Scope's waist but Scope gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Floyd off to one side.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Floyd tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Scope is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Floyd has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Floyd lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Floyd looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Scope lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Floyd closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Floyd changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Scope fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Scope lands with a straight right. Floyd didn't see that one coming.

Floyd wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Scope, who protects the arm well.
Scope really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Floyd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Scope is looking to regain half guard here but Floyd keeps moving and retains side control.
Scope is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Floyd has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Scope rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Floyd moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Floyd walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Scope is pressed up against the cage. Floyd has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Scope down to the mat. Scope avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Scope's corner calls for a 1-2. Scope obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That's time! Floyd's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Scope sizes up Floyd with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Scope goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Scope, as that shot connected.
Scope will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Floyd shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scope but Scope pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Scope catches Floyd with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Scope will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Scope pushes Floyd away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Floyd gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
