Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Santana Blaze (ranked 3308 p4p, 162 weight class) and Asd Qwe (ranked 3707 p4p, 183 weight class). Qwe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mutoid Man - Date With The Devil. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qwe throws a leg kick but Blaze sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Blaze lands the left hand.
Qwe wants to clinch up but Blaze keeps it at a distance.
A bone on bone clash there as Qwe blocks the leg kick.
Blaze swings for the body but Qwe moves out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Blaze.
No joy there for Blaze, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Qwe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blaze, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I was talking to Blaze's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Blaze wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Qwe has him pressed against the cage.

Blaze manages to break the clinch.
Blaze throws a right hand that Qwe ducks under and follows up with a left that Qwe also avoids with ease.

Blaze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Qwe throws out a loose jab but Blaze uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blaze takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Blaze scores with a hook to the body. Qwe takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

A looping hook to the body misses from Blaze. Qwe does a little dance to reset his feet.
Blaze sets himself, and Qwe steps forward looking for the clinch! Blaze avoids it this time.
Qwe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

enabling Blaze to counter with a crisp jab.
Qwe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
