Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nando Vasquez (ranked 3043 p4p, 347 weight class) and Jack McDonald (ranked 6956 p4p, 623 weight class). McDonald comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Three Little Birds kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack McDonald looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez just misses with a punch to the body.
McDonald closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Vasquez lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
We've been told by Vasquez's head coaches at Ryōzanpaku Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Vasquez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McDonald is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Vasquez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McDonald.

Vasquez is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches McDonald flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! McDonald is out cold! Vasquez holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
