The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bud throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cross.
Cross takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bud swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cross misses with a takedown attempt
and Bud counters with a straight right hand.
Bud has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cross is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Cross has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bud.

and Bud counters with a nice right hand that sends Cross toppling to the canvas! Cross scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bud finish him?!
Oh Cross is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tanner Cross. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Bud rattles Cross with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Cross tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Bud dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Cross stiff and motionless on the mat!
