And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Dryll!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Dryll. Those never looked like landing.
Syracuse fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dryll avoids it really well and circles away.
Syracuse looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A big left from Syracuse misses.
Dryll appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Dryll misses with a looping right.
A swing and a miss from Syracuse.
Dryll misses with an uppercut. Syracuse saw that one coming.
Syracuse seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Syracuse blocks a jab.
Good work by Dryll as he checks the leg kick.
Syracuse throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dryll let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Dryll throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Syracuse throwing a counter right hand but Dryll manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Evan Dryll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Syracuse scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Dryll is looking to clinch but Syracuse is avoiding it.
Syracuse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Syracuse throws a right and a left that both miss.
That kick from Dryll tenderised Syracuse's leg. Syracuse is trying to keep his angry face on.

Syracuse lands an overhand right.

Dryll clinches.
Syracuse wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dryll has him pressed against the cage.
Dryll lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Dryll fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Dryll slows down the pace here.
Syracuse swings away with an uppercut that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dryll.
Dryll pushes Syracuse back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Dryll as Syracuse tries to tie him up.
Dryll misses with some punches.
Syracuse can't find room to land a body shot as Dryll controls the action.
Dryll avoiding damage as Syracuse throws knees to the body.
Dryll blocking some punches.

Dryll prevents Syracuse from breaking the clinch.
Dryll working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Syracuse misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dryll lands an uppercut.

Dryll drops Syracuse onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Syracuse is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

It looks like Joshua Syracuse has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dryll lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Syracuse to his knees! Dryll keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
