Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Truth (ranked 1761 p4p, 257 weight class) and Maunu Tua (ranked 3382 p4p, 441 weight class). Maunu Tua told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnny Truth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Maunu Tua!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Truth lands a body shot.
Truth lands with a nice body punch.
Truth with a jab.
It looks like Maunu Tua has been cut.
Truth uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tua.
Truth lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tua staying out of range there.
We've been told by Truth's head coaches at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tua throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Truth throws a big counter combination but Tua scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Jab, jab by Truth - just one landing.
Tua tries to move into range but Truth moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Tua moves forwards but Truth connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Tua is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Truth with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Truth connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tua momentarily.
Truth lands a nice shot to the body.
Tua moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Tua is still on wobbly legs! Can Truth finish him?
Truth cracks Tua with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tua looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Truth finish him?
Truth throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tua seems to have recovered his senses.
Truth cracks Tua with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Truth has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tua to stand back up!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Truth uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tua.
Tua throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tua looks winded!
Truth keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tua shoots in for a takedown but Truth shows good takedown defense.
A big right from Tua misses.
Truth scores with a decent looking hook.
Truth cracks Tua with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tua looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Truth finish him?

Truth lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Tua out cold! Tua is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
