Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shaggy Shank (ranked 3530 p4p, 370 weight class) and Rocky Baxter (ranked 3151 p4p, 338 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
We've been told by Shank's head coaches at Martial Arts Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Shank throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Shaggy Shank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shank throws a hook but Baxter avoids it easily.
Baxter throws a head kick but Shank moves out of range.
Baxter scores with a head kick. Shank tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Shaggy Shank has been cut.
Baxter throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Shank works over Baxter 's head and body with a nice combination.
Shank lands a right hook to the body.
Baxter throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baxter fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Baxter plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Shank takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Baxter scores with a one two! Shank had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Shank lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Baxter throws out a counter right but Shank avoids it with no problem.
Shank throws a nice looking combination but Baxter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Shank is rocked!
Shank swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circle, before Baxter throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Shank's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Baxter lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Rocky Baxter tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
