The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dante slaps away a takedown attempt from Lawson , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dante tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dante swats away the attempt to clinch by Lawson .
Dante drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lawson defends it well.
Dante attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Lawson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Lawson throws a push kick but Dante slaps the foot to one side.

Dante pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lawson is out of range and Dante settles back down.

Lawson is trying to pull guard but Dante turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Lawson goes for a takedown attempt but Dante pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Dante connects with a looping right hand.
Lawson ducks into an uppercut from Dante and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Bruce Dante started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
