Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Myron Fry (ranked 5910 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genghis Khan (ranked 5915 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fry bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fry cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Khan is bucking up trying to escape but Fry cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Fry.
Fry is not going to allow Khan to sit and survive in this position.
Fry is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Fry gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Fry gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Fry apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Fry throws a low kick but it's checked well by Khan.

As Khan looks to move away, Fry throws a big counter combo but Khan just gets out of the way.

Fry manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Khan on his heels. He'll look to pass Khan's guard now, I'm sure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fry is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Khan.
