The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meade shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Meade was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Katsabanis manages to work his way to half guard, despite Meade's best efforts.

Meade seems to be working for a kimura but Katsabanis defends the submission attempt.
Katsabanis is pressing down on Meade's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Meade drops back looking for a leg! Katsabanis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Katsabanis manages to kick Meade off! Meade jumps back into Katsabanis's guard.

Katsabanis is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Meade rolls with it to try and escape but Katsabanis cranks on the arm and Meade is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
