Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sylvester Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quick comes to the cage accompanied by Fast as a Shark. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chase's choice of entrance music: Victory by Viking Quest. Sylvester Quick could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Chase's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quick closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chase to the mat! Chase manages to get full guard.
Chase has a closed guard, preventing Quick from standing up.

Chase looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chase working a defensive guard here.
Quick pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chase is keeping the position for now.

Quick has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Quick wants to pass the guard but Chase is keeping the position.

Chase working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Quick doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Quick manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Quick gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Quick throws a series of punches but Chase avoids them all with ease.

Quick drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chase pulls his leg out and moves away.

Chase stops a takedown attempt from Quick.
Chase tries to score a body lock takedown but Quick shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Quick can't get the takedown.

Quick is breathing heavily.

Chase decides to pull guard.

Quick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chase on the ground.

Chase has his foot on Quick's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Quick works his way back into a safe position though.

Chase has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Quick can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chase manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Chase tries to control but Quick wriggling away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Chase cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chase landing strikes from the mount and Quick is in trouble!

Quick is rocked!

Chase quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Chase but it's paid off an Quick is forced to tap! Nice work by Chase.
