Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cletus Hensley (ranked 24807 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marrick Lukas (ranked 6065 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lukas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hensley was covering up waiting for the punch and Lukas finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lukas wants to stand but Hensley is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hensley looking for a guillotine here but Lukas defends easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lukas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

It looked like Hensley was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Marrick Lukas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lukas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Lukas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hensley is trying to defend but Lukas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lukas is staying active underneath Hensley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lukas is looking for a sweep. Hensley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hensley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lukas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hensley.
Hensley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lukas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cletus Hensley will probably get the nod.

Lukas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lukas throws a right hand that Hensley ducks under and follows up with a left that Hensley also avoids with ease.

Lukas manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hensley on his heels. He'll look to pass Hensley's guard now, I'm sure.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hensley is on top in guard.

Hensley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lukas, up you get!

Lukas decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Well Lukas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
