PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kung Le (ranked 3914 p4p, 428 weight class) and Lee Tramp (ranked 4881 p4p, 506 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tramp looks to score with a jab to the body but Le is just out of range.
Tramp throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Le stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Tramp throws a looping overhand right but Le ducks down to avoid it.
Tramp takes a swing at Le's ribcage but misses.
Le appears to be looking for a big counter.

and Le counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Tramp tries to sprawl but Le drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Tramp has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Le is on him like a limpet, forcing Tramp back against the cage.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Tramp in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

A relieved looking Kung Le thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Lee Tramp spoke after the fight, saying 'There's no loses, only learning experiences. I'll be back in the gym training for my next fight and I hope to be back in the cage ASAP.'.
