Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Finnegan (ranked 5029 p4p, 469 weight class) and Ulysses Klaw (ranked 4689 p4p, 449 weight class). Ulysses Klaw acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Finnegan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Finnegan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Finnegan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Klaw blocks it with crossed arms.
Klaw changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Finnegan fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Finnegan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Finnegan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Klaw's head.

Klaw jumps guard and drags Finnegan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Klaw has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Finnegan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Klaw working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Finnegan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Finnegan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Finnegan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Klaw is defending well for now.
