Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corban Storm (ranked 1203 p4p, 156 weight class) and Asu Kuren (ranked 4645 p4p, 449 weight class). Corban Storm is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm loads up on a big right hand but Kuren slips the punch.
Kuren doesn't manage to clinch there - Storm circles away.

Storm gets tackled into the cage by Kuren. Kuren maintains the clinch.
Storm swings away with an uppercut that misses.

I was talking to Storm's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Storm fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kuren looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kuren doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

A slapping leg kick lands for Storm.
Kuren tries to clinch up
and Storm makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kuren keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kuren tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kuren wants to clinch up but Storm keeps it at a distance.
Storm throws a quick counter head kick but Kuren was just out of range.
Storm goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Storm fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kuren manages to avoid it.

Storm bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kuren is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Storm looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Kuren takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Storm swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Storm swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kuren.
Storm lands with a nice body punch.
Kuren tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Storm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Storm quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Storm is looking to wear down Kuren with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Storm throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kuren.
Storm connects with a crisp jab.
Storm lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Storm throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And Kuren tries to counter it with a takedown but Storm pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Storm lands with an overhand left.
Storm turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Storm misses with a straight right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice uppercut lands for Storm. That snapped Kuren's head back.

Kuren tries for a takedown but Storm sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Storm.
Kuren takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kuren drops his hands momentarily and Storm takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A jab from Storm does it's job there.

Kuren is rocked!
Storm grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Kuren takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Storm cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Corban Storm!
After the fight, Corban Storm was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
