Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Chugman (ranked 49 p4p, 10 weight class) and Mister Island (ranked 562 p4p, 77 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Klaus Chugman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mister Island!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Island moves away from the strike by Chugman.
Chugman misses with a wild body shot.
Island shoots for a takedown but Chugman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chugman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Island.
Chugman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Island moves away.
Island appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Chugman drives through with a takedown into Island's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Chugman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Island knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close round but Klaus Chugman did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Klaus Chugman.
Well Chugman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
