Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ali forces Mayer back against the cage and clinches.
A body shot lands from Mayer.
Ali drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mayer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mayer with a nice cross.
Mayer misses with a looping left.
Mayer misses the jab.
Mayer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ali was covering up waiting for the punch and Mayer finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mayer controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Ali is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mayer content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Mayer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mayer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
It looks like Ali Ali has been cut.
Mayer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Mayer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Ali striking off his back but it's not causing Mayer any problems.
Mayer stands up over Ali, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ali is rocked!
That has opened up Ali Ali's cut even more.
Mayer postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ali covers up, he's hurt! Mayer keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Mayer and the ref steps in to end the fight! Mayer can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
