Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tank Ispa!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Kardashian!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kardashian lands a right hook to the body.
Ispa looks for a takedown but Kardashian sprawls well.
Kardashian stuns Ispa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kardashian with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ispa to score with a decent uppercut.
Ispa misses with a left hand
and Kardashian counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kardashian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kardashian misses with an uppercut. Ispa saw that one coming.
Kardashian misses with a jab to the body
and Ispa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ispa scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kardashian in his tracks.
Kardashian ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ispa moves away.
Kardashian throws a body shot but no joy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kardashian. Ispa does a little dance to reset his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kardashian thows a left - swing and a miss!

Ispa clinches up with Kardashian and pushes him back against the cage.
Kardashian looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ispa dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Ispa misses with the head strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ispa lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kardashian backwards.
Kardashian lands a shot to the body.
Kardashian wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ispa has him pressed against the cage.

Kardashian manages to break the clinch.
Kardashian tries to move into range but Ispa moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kardashian throws a body shot but no joy.
Kardashian misses the body punch

and Ispa counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Kardashian pushes Ispa off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kardashian enables Ispa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kardashian manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Ispa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ispa trying to control the position from guard on top but Kardashian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ispa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kardashian swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ispa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kardashian is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kardashian has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Ispa has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kardashian doesn't defend quickly enough and Ispa has managed to lock this one up! Can Kardashian escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ispa on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tank Ispa!
Tank Ispa retains his light heavyweight title!
Tank Ispa decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
